I am a German-born Dorn Method Practitioner and authorised Dorn Method Instructor, living and practising near Stratford-upon-Avon in the UK.
Having experienced daily headaches from my early teens, discovering the Dorn Method in 2004 was truly life-changing. Not only did it help relieve my headaches, it set me on a completely new path — one I’ve followed for over 20 years.
Learning the Dorn Method directly from Dieter Dorn, along with inspiring teachers such as Hildegard Steinhauser and Thomas Zudrell, was a real privilege. Their guidance shaped both my work and my mission: to help others feel more comfortable and balanced in their bodies and lead a more pain free life.
Since discovering Dorn, Brigitte has supported many people in finding relief from back pain, headaches and joint discomfort through this gentle approach.

Brigitte founded the UK Dorn Method Training Centre, offering therapists and anyone interested in Dorn the chance to learn the method and practical self-help techniques. Since then, she has trained over 650 therapists from across the UK and beyond.
Opening Dorn Haus Therapy Centre in Stratford-upon-Avon was a long-held dream. Although it sadly closed in 2020 during the pandemic, Brigitte continues to practise from her own clinic, helping people move towards a more comfortable, pain-free life.
Having won the prestigious ‘Highly Commended Tutor of the Year’ award by the FHT was a real highlight in 2015.
My philosophy is simple — I aim to help my clients get better quickly and to stay out of pain over the long term. I achieve this by combining the simple yet unique principles of the Dorn Method with regular maintenance and teaching of easy-to-learn self-help exercises.
I find that most of my clients therefore need very few therapy sessions before feeling much better.
